Movie Reviews: Lake Mungo, Autopsy & Zombies of Mass Destruction

"The best Australian horror movie since Wolf Creek" - thejadedcritic.blogspot.com
Synopsis: A documentary about a girl who drowned in a lake.

Review: As one of the movies of the annual After Dark Horrorfest, this one stands out among the rest as it is creepy and chilling. Using supposedly real life footage and one-to-one interviews makes this documentary movie a unique take on the horror genre. Watch this if you like: Paranormal Activity (2009). Rating 9/10

Other movies watched so far:
Zombies of Mass Destruction: Zombie horror comedy that tries really hard to generate the laughs. Bad acting, effects and film production (home video quality). As bad as George A Romero's recent film - Survival of the dead (2009). 2/10

Autopsy: Typical crazy killer(s) horror movie terrorizing good looking teenagers in a hospital. Judging from the title alone, you already know what to expect. Only thing good are the gore effects. The storyline/plot is too predictable and a disappointing ending spoils the entire movie. Starring Robert Patrick (of Terminator 2 fame).
