JDownloader - The Best Download Manager ?

Another alternative way of downloading videos other than through torrents is via one-click hosters (such as rapidshare).

Although this method of downloading is nothing new, many were put off by the many inconveniences of using this method which are:
1. Unlike torrents, files are normally split into multiple files due to size limitations imposed by the one-click hosters.
2. You have to patiently wait for the timer to reach zero for every new download.
3. You will have to either wait for 30 minutes after each successful download or manually renew the public IP address by resetting the router.
Of course, all of this does not apply if you have paid to become a premium member of the one-click hosters. But this involves costs.

Then comes the solution to all of the above problems - JDownloader.

JDownloader is a unique download manager in which it is good at managing downloads from multiple file hosters.
Downloading is simple. Just copy the links found on the website (my favourite is allyoulike.com) and the application will automatically add into the list of downloads.

Pros: Fast downloads, good captcha recognition, automatic extraction of compressed files.
Cons: takes a long time to start up. Limited resume-able function. Requires stable internet connection. Some download process does not start automatically.
